 Upgrades on a budget

what kind of blastet upgrades should I do first to my stock 2000 blaster im getting next week? The first thing is nerf bars but after that what should i put to increase the speed and power, already considerd putting 14 tooth front on but dont want to loose bottom end that bad.
what should i do?

pipe it and get the head milled...you can get it ported too but that's cash...
